It all begins with an idea.
The COVID-19 pandemic spurred significant change, disruption and revelation to our fragile and dynamic world. Since those early days of anxiety and isolation I have focused on parenting while starting an independent museum planning consultancy and re-connected with local environmental activism. I have had time to reflect on my approach as an exhibit design professional, committed to museum projects that inspire and educate, with my earlier years as a media educator working with youth from historically under-resourced communities. Reflecting on 20 years in exhibit design + museum planning and construction management and 5 years of arts education, I have learned to navigate project hurdles with modesty and intention to developed a proactive, collaborative approach centering co-design, engagement and visitor experience.
